EVO-TEC™ chargers are built for permanent on-board installation, giving you dependable charging access whenever your boat, fish house, or battery system is ready to plug in.
LITHIUM WAKE MODE
Easily wake a connected lithium battery from sleep mode by holding the charger’s mode button for 3–5 seconds. This helps reactivate the battery so charging can begin without needing to disconnect or jump-start the battery.
AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN WHEN FULLY CHARGED
The Automatic Shutdown When Fully Charged feature of the Norsk Lithium® Evo-Tec™ On-Board Charger ensures optimal battery care and safety. Once the battery reaches full charge, the charger automatically stops the charging process to prevent overcharging and extend battery life.
REVERSE CONNECTION PROTECTION
The Reverse Connection Protection feature in the Norsk Lithium On-Board Charger provides critical defense against improper battery connections. This intelligent safety system detects if the battery cables are connected to the wrong terminals and immediately prevents charging to avoid damage.
OVER TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
When the temperature of the radiator inside the charger is more than or equal to 80℃ ±5℃ (176°F ±9°F), the charger will automatically reduce the output current for over temperature protection. When the internal temperature drops, the charging current will gradually increase and finally recover to max output. A waterproof cooling fan is installed outside the charger. When the bottom aluminum stretched plate’s temperature is higher than or equal to 50℃ ±5℃ (122°F ±9°F), the fan will work. When the bottom aluminum stretched plate’s temperature is lower than or equal to 40℃ ±5℃ (104°F ±9°F), the fan stops working.
BURNOUT PROTECTION
The Burnout Protection feature of the Norsk Lithium® On-Board Charger provides an essential safeguard against overheating and overloading. This advanced protection system monitors the charger’s internal temperature and power flow, automatically shutting down the charger if it detects conditions that could lead to burnout or damage.
IP67 WATERPROOF
The IP67 Waterproof rating of the Norsk Lithium® Evo-Tec™ On-Board Charger provides exceptional protection against environmental elements, making it highly suitable for harsh marine conditions. This rating ensures that the charger is completely dust-tight and can withstand submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes.
FULLY POTTED CASE W/ EPOXY RESIN
The Fully Potted Case W/ Epoxy Resin used in the Norsk Lithium® Evo-Tec™ On-Board Charger offers superior protection and durability by encapsulating the internal components in high-quality epoxy resin.
