Our GEN-3 batteries are shipped in shut-down mode to preserve life of the battery. Watch this video to learn how to wake our batteries from shut-down mode.
NOTE: If you have a previous generation Norsk Lithium marine battery it may be in Low-Voltage protection, please attempt to use a charger that has a wake-up function such as our Evo-Tec charger, or a Minnkota PCL. If either of these do not wake up your battery, please try hooking up your battery to another battery of the same voltage with jumper cables, red to red, black to black, with all other connections removed and leave them connected for about 10 minutes, this should raise the voltage of the battery to an ideal charging voltage, please then attempt to charge your battery again. You can also verify the voltage with a voltmeter.
