There are 3 sets of terminals on our Norsk Lithium Marine Starting batteries because we recognized that people will be running other applications on our starting batteries, such as electronics, pumps, radio, interior lights, etc. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) limit the number of terminal connections that can be attached to a single battery post, to a maximum of 4. Having triple-terminals minimizes the draw on a single terminal post without the need to add a busbar.
