This unit worked as I was hoping meaning it charged my Humminbird Xplore screens 100ah battery from motor and accessory battery with just the flip of a switch. Nice compact size made it easy to install in my mechanical compartment in the boat. Easy to hook up wires, directions were good on that. One critique i have is the instructions made it appear as though the indicator lights were located in the front face of the unit. There are red and green looking dots on the front face sticker which look like they would be where you would see lights when the charger is working. Turns out the lights are not 2 individual lights but one light with red and green built in. This light is located on the right SIDE of the unit. I thought my unit was defective because after installing and trying the temporary test to make sure it was working, I did not see the light on the side. I saw the light after fog to turn off switch at night. I would add a drawing in the instructions showing the location of the light for clarity on installation.
