What is ESR – Emergency Start Reserve?

All Norsk Lithium Starting Batteries offer an Emergency Start Reserve (ESR) feature that allocates 25% of the battery’s capacity as a reserve available on demand. You’ll always have the power you need to start your outboard motor at the end of a long day on the water. ESR can be activated with the push of the Power Management button on the top of the battery or via the Norsk Guardian® App.

Think of ESR as a battery jump pack built into your battery that is always charged and ready to go when needed!
