The 180Ah Wheelhouse Power Package provides dependable, all day lithium power for wheelhouses, skid houses, and crank houses, delivering a modern upgrade for ice house electrical systems. Built for flexible installations, it supports 12V onboard equipment and supplies 120V outlet power when paired with a separate inverter (not included).
BATTERY
At the core of the package is a Norsk Lithium 180Ah battery, engineered for stable, high capacity 12V output to run lighting, electronics, accessories, and inverter driven 120V loads, with integrated Emergency Reserve (ESR) technology preserving 25 percent of total capacity to keep critical systems powered during extended trips, extreme cold, or delayed charging. Compared to traditional lead acid batteries, lithium technology offers half the weight, twice the runtime, five times faster charging, and up to five times the lifespan, reducing long-term replacement costs and lowering overall cost of ownership while providing years of reliable performance.
The system includes complete battery monitoring through the free Norsk Guardian App, offering real-time visibility into battery status, voltage, state of charge, reserve availability, and overall system health. App-based monitoring adds confidence and control, allowing users to easily manage power usage and charging performance from their mobile device.
CHARGER
To support fast recovery and dependable charging, the package includes a 2-bank EVO-TEC™ On-Board Charger, with both charging banks double-stacked onto the 180Ah lithium battery to deliver a combined 25 amps of recharge current. During charging, the battery’s built-in Thermal-Core Heating Technology™ automatically activates in cold conditions, warming the cells to a safe temperature before charging begins. This ensures proper charging performance and protects battery health in extreme winter environments.
By dedicating lithium power to all 12V systems and inverter-based 120V loads – while allowing hydraulic components to remain on lead-acid when present – this configuration delivers reliable performance, simplified installation, and a flexible path to lithium power. The 180Ah Wheelhouse Power Package is an ideal solution for anglers looking to modernize ice house power across a variety of house styles.
ALL-SEASON USE
The 180Ah Starting battery and on-board charger can also be removed and used in other applications, such as a boat during the summer, providing added flexibility and year-round value.
IMPORTANT: For hydraulic wheelhouse applications, we recommend retaining your lead-acid battery to power the hydraulic system due to its high amp draw requirements, or upgrading to our Ultimate Wheelhouse Lithium Power Package for a complete lithium solution.
PRO TIP: For multi-day trips, we recommend running your generator during downtime or while you sleep to quickly recharge your batteries. Using the included 2 Bank EVO-TEC™ On-Board Chargers allows you to restore power efficiently, helping ensure your system is fully charged and ready when it matters most.
NORSK GUARDIAN® APP 
Connect to the battery via Bluetooth® and monitor and manage your battery with ease using the free Norsk Guardian® App. View real-time battery status, remaining runtime, voltage, amp draw, and system health. The app also provides access to features like Deep Sleep™ and Emergency Reserve (ESR), giving you complete control from your smartphone.
EMERGENCY START RESERVE 
Never worry about losing power when you need it most inside your ice house. Norsk Lithium® batteries feature Emergency Reserve (ESR) technology that automatically protects 25% of the battery’s capacity for unexpected situations. This reserved capacity ensures power remains available for essential systems such as lighting, electronics, and other critical loads during extended stays, extreme cold, or delayed recharging.
ESR can be accessed directly using the Power Management button on the battery or through the Norsk Guardian® App, giving you added confidence and control in demanding winter conditions.
DEEP SLEEP™ ADVANCED STORAGE MODE 
Easily disconnect power from your battery’s terminals, eliminating phantom current draws and preventing fully-discharged batteries when stored for extended periods of time. This convenient feature eliminates the need to manually operate battery disconnect switches, helping ensure your batteries stay charged and ready when you need them. Wake a battery from Deep Sleep™ mode effortlessly with a quick press of the One-Touch Power Management Button on top of the battery or via the Norsk Guardian® App.

THERMAL CORE HEATING TECHNOLOGY
Designed specifically for extreme cold environments, Thermal Core Heating Technology™ ensures safe and reliable charging in winter conditions. When connected to a charger, the system monitors internal cell temperature and automatically redirects incoming charge current to warm the cells if temperatures are below 32°F (0°C).
Once the battery reaches a safe charging temperature, normal charging begins. Combined with full potting using thermally conductive epoxy, custom heat pads, and a proprietary heating control algorithm, Norsk Lithium® delivers industry-leading cold-weather charging performance for ice house applications.
BCI-COMPLIANT CASES 
Norsk Lithium 12V batteries are built in BCI-compliant cases, allowing them to fit directly in place of common Group 31 lead-acid or AGM batteries. This makes upgrading to lithium simple, with no need for oversized or proprietary battery trays—ideal for tight ice house battery compartments.
TRIPLE SETS OF TERMINALS FOR FLEXIBLE RIGGING
Norsk Lithium® batteries feature multiple terminal connection points and include the necessary terminal hardware (M8 posts and bolts) to support clean, organized wiring.
