Our proprietary Thermal Core Heating Technology™ checks the temperature of the cells inside the battery and reroutes the inbound current from the charger to warm the cells if the cell temperature is below 32F. / 0C., Once the internal cell temperature has been increased to a safe charging temperature, the current from the charger is routed to the cells so a safe charge can take place.
This process is fully automatic as it is controlled by the BMS built into each battery. Different lift systems create different power demands. The following recommendations are intended to help guide battery selection for common boat lift configurations.
Actual battery requirements can vary based on lift manufacturer, motor size, system voltage, lift travel, boat weight, startup surge, and the battery system’s 1C discharge limit.
Understanding the 1C Discharge Rule
When selecting a lithium boat lift battery, capacity is only part of the equation. The battery must also be sized to safely support the lift motor’s discharge demand. For boat lift applications, the battery system should not exceed a 1C discharge rate, meaning the maximum discharge should stay within the amp-hour capacity of the battery.

DO I NEED A SPECIAL CHARGER FOR A LITHIUM BOAT LIFT BATTERY?
