With a no-load power consumption of just ≤70mA, this feature is particularly important because if your battery lacks Deep Sleep technology, you would need to install a manual cut-off switch between the regulator and the source battery to prevent unnecessary discharge during periods of non-use. However, using a Norsk Lithium battery as the source battery is highly advantageous, as our Deep Sleep functionality eliminates the need for a manual cut-off switch, simplifying your setup and enhancing overall power management.
