Will Pappenfus

Born and raised in central Minnesota, I grew up fishing Lake Mille Lacs and Leech Lake most of the time. Once I turned 16, I started working the summers at Spirit of the North Resort on Leech Lake for the next 6 years, and guiding part time till I graduated from Bemidji State in 2018. Since then I've worked at Thousand Lakes Sporting Goods in Grand Rapids, MN and currently at Northwoods Bait & Tackle in Bemidji, MN. I also own EyeCrazy Guide Service and guide when time allows.

I fish walleye tournaments just about every weekend in the summer as well. From the Minnesota Tournament Trail, Aim Pro Walleye Series, local tournaments as well. I'm currently fishing my 3rd season on the National Walleye Tour full time which takes up most of my schedule. Walleyes definitely have my heart, but if it swims, I'm definitely going to try to catch it!
