I am excited to be simplifying my set up this season and only running 4 batteries.
Two 36V – 60AH batteries in parallel for my βtrolling motorβ aka Casting Motor.
One 12V 180AH cranking battery for all things Ranger related , plus one HDS12.
One 16V 135AH battery for my electronics house battery. This bad boy will run 3 Lowrance HDS 12s , a HDS 16, and 2 Active Target transducers.
A Norsk DC to DC Charger will allow me to borrow power from my always full 180AH battery at any time. That battery will always be full thanks to the alternator on the 400hp Verado.
Included in this setup are 2 Norsk Chargers , which I will say are super rugged and ready to conquer the great lakes environment my boat lives in.
