A SMART LITHIUM BATTERY HEATER
Our proprietary Thermal Core Heating Technology™ checks the temperature of the cells inside the battery and reroutes the inbound current from the charger to warm the cells if the cell temperature is below 32F. / 0C., Once the internal cell temperature has been increased to a safe charging temperature, the current from the charger is routed to the cells so a safe charge can take place.

Are lithium batteries better than lead-acid for wheelhouses?
Absolutely. Lithium batteries provide more usable power, longer lifespan, faster charging, and lighter weight. Unlike lead-acid, they don’t need replacing every two years, reducing overall cost and hassle over multiple ice seasons.
Can I leave my generator at home when running a lithium power package?
We recommend bringing your generator, especially for multi-day trips and cold weather conditions. No matter what batteries you use, a generator is always a smart backup for emergencies. Until you are confident in your real-world power usage, it’s best to bring it along. Runtime depends on your amp load and total amp hours.

Do I need an inverter to run Norsk Lithium Wheelhouse Batteries?
It depends on your wheelhouse setup. Many fish houses use 12V appliances like fridges, TVs, lights, and electronics, which can run directly from Norsk Lithium batteries without an inverter. However, if you want to power standard 120V (110V) outlets for items like microwaves, coffee makers, or household-style appliances, you will need an inverter.
When choosing an inverter, always check the input wattage of the appliances you plan to run. High-draw items like microwaves and residential fridges can require significant power, so be sure to leave headroom. Example: if your microwave requires 1,300 watts, a 2,000-watt inverter is recommended to handle startup surges and ensure reliable operation.
