We need to ship our lithium batteries at a state of charge not exceeding 30% of their rated capacity so it is not uncommon to receive a new battery completely dead. To insure the longevity of your battery, please make sure you are using the correct LITHIUM ION charger when charging our Norsk Lithium batteries. Using a LiFePO4 or lead-acid charger will not charge our batteries correctly as they have different chemistries and could damage them over time.
