EMERGENCY START RESERVE
Never be stranded on the water again due to a dead starting battery! All Norsk Lithium® Starting batteries offer an Emergency Start Reserve that allocates 25% of the battery’s capacity as a reserve available on demand so you’ll always have the power you need to start your outboard motor at the end of a long day on the water. ESR can be activated with the push of the Power Management button on the battery or via the Norsk Guardian® App.
DEEP SLEEP™
Disconnect power to your battery’s terminals using this feature in the Norsk Guardian® app to eliminate fully-discharged batteries caused by phantom draw – storing your battery has never been easier!
THERMAL CORE HEATING TECHNOLOGY
Our proprietary Thermal Core Heating Technology™ checks the temperature of the cells inside the battery and reroutes the inbound current from the charger to warm the cells if the cell temperature is below 32F. / 0C. Once the internal cell temperature has been increased to a safe charging temperature, the current from the charger is routed to the cells so a safe charge can take place. With the addition of full potting with thermally conductive epoxy, custom heat pads, and our proprietary heating control algorithm, NOBODY does heated batteries better!
BCI-COMPLIANT CASES
Norsk Lithium 12V Deep Cycle batteries are constructed in BCI-compliant cases, ensuring they fit in the same space as a Group 31 lead-acid or AGM battery. This eliminates the need for an oversized proprietary battery tray.
TRIPLE SETS OF TERMINALS FOR FLEXIBLE RIGGING
All Norsk Lithium® Starting batteries offer 3-sets of terminals and the needed terminal hardware (M8 posts & M8 bolts) to make quick and organized work of the most complicated boat rigging jobs.
ONE-TOUCH POWER MANAGEMENT
The Power Management button, found on all Norsk Lithium® marine batteries, allows the user to quickly check State of Charge, and manage advanced features such as ESR and Deep Sleep™ or reset the BMS.
IP67 WATERPROOF
IP67 Waterproof ensures that your Norsk Lithium® Marine Battery is fully protected against dust and capable of withstanding immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes. This high level of protection guarantees that your battery remains operational in the harshest marine environments, providing reliable performance and durability.
NORSK GUARDIAN APP INTEGRATION
Seamlessly manage your battery’s performance with the Norsk Guardian® App. Monitor battery status, control the Deep Sleep™ mode, and access Emergency Start Reserve [ESR] with ease, all from the convenience of your smartphone.
EXCEEDING INDUSTRY STANDARDS FOR OUTBOARD MOTORS
Norsk Lithium® Marine Starting batteries have been evaluated and found to meet, and in most cases significantly exceed, all performance requirements for lithium starting batteries outlined in the Mercury® Marine Performance Bulletin 2022-19R1 released November 2022*

*Approximate net current to battery may vary by alternator, wiring, regulator behavior, and installation conditions.
■ Parallel Connection Required
Parallel connection is required in certain alternator applications. Using batteries in parallel distributes charging current, helping protect the battery and BMS from overcurrent and overheating.
Note: Mercury and other OEMs may require an isolator or ACR. These devices do not limit current; they only manage battery bank connection.
Maximum Charge Acceptance
Published recommended maximum charge current:
120Ah Starting Battery: ≤60A
180Ah Starting Battery: ≤90A
Peak charge acceptance:
120Ah Starting Battery: 120A at 20°C to 45°C
180Ah Starting Battery: 180A at 20°C to 45°C
Net Current = Alternator Output – Engine Draw – Vessel Loads
Always size using worst-case conditions: low SOC, high RPM, and minimal loads.

I’ve recently installed the new 180 Amp Heated Lithium cranking battery in my new Lund Predator tunnel hull I use for river fishing spring and fall. It is perfect for me….and use it for starting a Mercury 115/80 jet as well as my electronics and livewell….eliminating the need for s seperate house battery.
The heated system is perfect because of fishing early spring and late fall when frequently I need to charge when temperatures are below 32 degrees. I do have it set up with a Minn Kota 460 charger, with a lithium profile…May not have needed this since so far it has recharged with just running back to the boat ramp.
I do really like the Bluetooth app where I can check the status and charge level of the batteries in the boat with me iPhone. It is a great system.

I run Rudland’s guide service in ND. In the past I’ve had battery troubles. Running the Norsk 180 had been a game changer! The peace of mind is worth every penny! Thanks I love this batter.
